How do you get over an ex that has moved on and has a new girlfriend but continues to tell you he still cares about you and misses you?

Don't take his words for granted, look at his actions. If he loved you so much, why is he currently dating someone else? Tell him he can get in touch with you when he's no longer in another relationship. Establish no contact with him---don't contact him and don't return any of his calls/texts/emails. Even after a bad breakup, it's easier to remember the good parts of the relationship and forget the crap that went on. Write a list of your ex's bad traits/behaviors from when you were dating him--anytime you have the urge to contact him, read that list before you do.

∙ 17y agoThis is a no-brainer; just think of him laying in bed with her and not you. If that doesn't upset you enough, then you love the drama. In that case, you are the only one keeping you in the relationship. The minute you walk away from Mr. Two-Timer, the quicker he'll but up your "YOU KNOW WHAT" wondering where you're at and what you're doing. Find another boy to take your mind off of him.
