The reason you may not see signs of bed bugs is because bed bugs are known to hide in crack and crevices behind walls and also inside mattresses. They generally only come in at night and attracted to CO2.

Also consider that the bites you might have may also be from other bugs like fleas.

first find the areas were there might be bed bugs which may be

*matresses

*all wood

*dressers

*picture boards

*ceiling and walls

*carpet

*clothes

get all toys and clothes and shoes in plastic bags

wash them in hot water and put them in dryer all the way up

vaccum all house and clean everything .put matress in plastic for at least one year

fumigate all wood dressers , tables etc.

when doing this , make sure there is no people but you
