Most Indian families will swear by the use of gram flour (besan) for the skin. Make a paste with three parts gram flour, one part lemon juice, a pinch of turmeric (too much turmeric will turn you yellow!) and a tiny bit of yogurt.



Sugar Scrub

Mix three parts of fine granulated sugar with one part lemon juice and one part water. Apply this to your face and keep for 10-15 minutes.


Smell the Coffee!

Coffee can be used on the face as much as for your morning fix! Take 2-3 teaspoons of coffee beans and grind it well. It has to reach a fine granular consistency. To this add one teaspoon fine granulated sugar, one teaspoon honey and few drops of lemon juice.
