How do you get rid of virus Trojan Horse Downloader Turown I?

The only anti-virus software that seems to address the turown virus.

I think that some more info is needed like what operating system you use, have you tried to do it from a bootscan, what virus detection system do you have before this can be answered.

Try downloading a program by the name of Avast it's a great virus scanner/protector :)

Go to start open find files and folders. Type setup_TD.exe and when that file shows up delelte it. Next run your anti-virus software and it should then heal the virus. Run antivirus again and you should get the message NO Virus Found. Good Luck! It worked for me.

I have just updated my free AVG 6 anti virus program today and it caught and healed the Trojan horse downloader.Siboco.B virus. so my suggestion to you is to update your AVG.7 or download the free one.

I'm using Windows 98se. This is the way I remove the Turown.A Trojan horse Go to Start,Find,Files and folders, open, Type setup_TD.exe make sure you are searching on C: or whatever letter your hard drive is. Click on that file(setup_TD.exe and delete. Run you anti-virus and it will heal the infected files.Run again and it will say hopefull no virus found. Good Luck /this worked for me.

Remove Downloader Turown HI found the Downloader.Turown.H inside the file Iedriver.exe. Iedriver.exe was inside the file abcA0F1.exe, wich was in c:\Windows\Temp directory. My Windows is the 98E.abcA0F1.exe is a winzip file. Rename this file to and click in it. Winzip will show you 12 files, including Iedriver.exe.By the way, my anti-virus is AVG 6.After doing a copy of abcA0F1.exe in a 3 1/2 disquette, I deleted it from the HD.AVG did not find any virus in my computer.

IVE just updated my avg antivirus software and run it. It found downloader.briss and removed it to the virus vault.

I downloaded the free version of AVG anti virus and this scanned found and deleted the trojan. It resides in the comm.dll file. Hope this helps

i went to dl AVG anti-virus version 7 and it manages to detect the Trojan and delete most of them... as for those which are unable to heal or delete... try to go to the foler that consists of the infected file and the anti virus shd prompt u abt the Trojan... den.. u can safely delete the Trojan horse... hopes it help...

its not a virus its a trogan hourse i would recomend downloading spysweeper or spybot....and you get lots of bad things on your computer from looking at porn...... not that im saying you do
