i have heard and tried many of the things ppl say to get your vote such as toothpaste there really is no way to get scratches out of a CD but u can do the blockbuster scam.
the blockbuster scam consist of getting a game that doesnt work putting pine soil on it and make it look clean then rent a game from blockbuster peel the thin layer of plastic off and put in on the old one and and sell the blockbuster one i tried it once and it worked.
If it's dirty, clean it on your clothes but NOT your jeans. If it's clean you'll need to dab it with water and if that don't work you'll need some WD40, if that don't work the DVD is screwed.
no but there's this stuff that removes scratches
Dvd's and cd's are often going bad because of scratches or they are easily broken.
Best explanation would be that the discs are badly scratched and have been rendered unplayable, especially if the scratches are deep
To get a lot of scratches off of games or DVDs you may want to get a disk repair machine. I recommend the ZDag 102 it cost about a $100 but it will pay for it self over time by saving your disks. (especially if there are any kids in your house) I would skip on the DVD skip doctors as I have used it and was not impressed. I run a small resell shop and use it to fix DVDs and games. Saving over a hundred from the trash can. Here is a video review of the Disk Repair Machine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBl3mtlaqys
yes, blu-ray discs are scratch proof, they can last way longer than dvds. but blu-ray discs can fingerprint.

I assume you are selling used videos and DVDs in your store. You could put an ad in your local newspapers and watch the papers daily for people advertising to sell videos and DVDs. You might also consider going to yard sales, but you should check each one you are considering buying for scratches before you buy and make sure the covers are not damaged.
Blu-Ray is for HDTVs. They can hold up to 5 times more data than a DVD can hold. Blu-Rays are also more resistant to scratches and harder to break than DVDs

HD DVDS are DVDs that can be played on high definition TV players. The regular DVD can be played on any TV and is not in the same definition as the HD DVDs.
