To Earn starcoins you do exactly those things.
but to earn starcoins you can also:
vote designs,vote catwalk,do polls,vote a covergirl, vote a album, vote a scenery and so on.
The max of starcoins you can earn in a day is 40.

Ok so if you are on Stardoll, you're StarPoints will show up when you log out and log in again THE NEXT DAY. So in other words, StarPoints come between days. Example: I was on Stardoll on March 20th, and my StarPoints showed up on March 21st. Hope this helps!

When you reach a certain amount of starpoints you will unlock stuff for your suite and medoll. Hairstyle are included.
