manual tranny's take gear oil not tranny fluid. you need to get all that fluid out and fill the tranny with 80/90 weight gear oil
The Transmission Dipstick is located on the Passengers side near the firewall in the engine compartment.
you should have 2 dipsticks. 1 for oil and 1 for tranny fluid. the tranny fluid dipstick is going to be the one in the back of the engine compartment. if you have to add some. use "dot 3 tranny fluid" and a funnel. check the fluid level with a warmed up tranny and while the eng in idling to get a proper level reading
the easyest way is to take your pass side wheel off pull out the axel drain the gear oil out of the tranny makes it easyer to move unblot the tranny if your anti freeze hose is running into your motor but is bolted on to the tranny be very carefull when taking it off you will get showered. youll have to take your starter off to. once you get the tranny off your clutch is right there, youll have to take you throw out bearing off the clutch and the preasure plate. get your preasure plate resurfaced or replace it. this is about a 6-9 hour job so clear your day
The only way to see your tranny oil is on the side of the tranny itself, there isn't a dip stick for it if that's what your looking for
