I own a 2009 Jeep Wrangler X and actually just had to change a flat. In the trunk of your jeep there will be a long lug nut "wrench" that was made specifically to remove the nuts that hold all of the tires on. Simply use this tool to remove the nuts on the spare tire and you are all set!
tire iron - located under the back seat.
Unscrew the lug nuts holding it onto the mount. It should slide right off.
The tire on a Jeep Liberty is changed by loosening the lug nuts, jacking up the vehicle, removing the lug nuts, and taking the tire off. A replacement tire or spare is then place over the wheel studs and the lug nuts tightened down.
remove back covered area and use jack to reel tire down.
Hi, The spare tire is underneath the rear of your Pacifica. However, to lower it, you will have to open the back hatch and open the floor compartment. In the middle of the compartment you will see a place where you have to fit the lug wrench onto. Then after it is fitted on, you will have to keep spinning the lug wrench to the left until the spare tire is lowered onto the ground. Then you will have to release the cable that lowered the spare tire down from the vehicle. Next, take the flat tire off and install the spare tire. Then take your flat tire to the nearest decent tire store or car garage and have them either fix the flat, or replace the tire if it is ruined. Then after you get the tire back, take the spare off and put the good tire back on again. Happy Traveling!
Remove the tire cover (if it has one) remove the wheel lug(s) holding the rim to the mounting bracket - slide the tire off the bracket.
The spare tire on back gate is heavy and wears down the latch. If you put thin foam or tape around the inside latch it will be good again until that wears off.
There isnt a spare tire on a ssr. If you want one you need a spare off of a envoy or trailblazer.
It's either inside in the rear compartment, hanging off the tailgate or mounted directly underneath in front of the rear bumper.
To get the spare tire off a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder you should insert the long rod into the hole in the trunk. Push the long rod down and turn it. Once it catches you can lower the tire down. The rod and tools that you need are under the back seat of your vehicle.
Check the spare tire sensor.
Have you checked the spare tire yet? I hear that if the spare is too low the light will stay on.
