Personally what I do is take a quarter to half your normal dosage before bed or whenever the withdrawal starts. Depending on what dosage you are on this should work. Personally im on 4mg a day or so, so 1mg usually stops w/d for a short period of time. Pending on how old you are alcohol can help benzodiazepine withdrawal. Good luck man, ive been in your shoes before its tough.

Your brain tells the muscle to move by sending electric impulses through your nerves to your muscles.
A myospasm is a muscle spasm - a sudden jerking or twitching caused by contraction of the muscles.
myoclonus (my/o means muscle, clon mean violent action and -us is a singular noun ending)
Twitching, little muscle spasms, could be caused by dehydration and lack of calcium and potassium. No matter what the cause, a physician should address this problem. If the twitching is painful, it may be some type of inflammation in the nerve or neuritis.
Muscle twitching is mainly cause by stress and anxiety.
