I'm not entirely sure what it disarmed, but I'm pretty sure it had something to do with Herbet (Enemy polar bear) and his evil plans. If you go outside of the mineshack there is an ice sculpture of Herbet and it has some vines on it. Maybe there is another mission coming up, not sure. Not sure if that helped but I hope it did ;)
