This is the Traction Control System indicator. It illuminates when it is in use. It can also be turned off in which case it would illumiate with TCS or DSC OFF indicated.

Traction control applies the ABS to the individual wheel when it spins too fast, slowing it down to the speed of the other wheels so that it can gain traction.

There is a button in the glove box on the upper left, just push it and it disables the traction control. It resets when you shut the car off.
