When you chase the French reporter (Mlle. Moreau), she will trick the guards into pursuing you. Climb the ladder and jump to the middle lion (the tame one). Then jump to the awnings and bounce over the juggled items (knives, fire) to the left. At the totem pole, jump from the pole to the street lights and continue left until the pole falls over. Dodge the police and continue to the left.
At the Ferris Wheel, you initally climb up the left side, then jump to the rope marked in red to swing over to the right side. Climb again, to where the other rope lets you swing to the center to rescue the transformer.
