How do you get to the fuel pump on a 1997 Chevy dually with 1 tank remove bed or drop tank or is there an access panel somewhere?

No I have found it much easier to drop the tanks being sure to lubricate the bolt holding the straps up day before you plan on doing the job.. cac save you alot of headache as well as money for staps not and bolt... once tank is down acual working area sou inspect tank properly and cleal tank around the top well before new fuel pumps is installed.. always use a new screaner and fuel filter when doing this job..... if sending unit and lines need to be replace this is the time....good luck...... stevefanof3@Yahoo.com
