There are two T30 torx bolts on either side of the backside of the steering wheel that anchor the airbag to the steering column. Loosen those (they shouldn't come all the way out, just enough to get the airbag off the column). You will see three 5mm hex head screws at each of the three points of the airbag. Under those screws are the contacts for the horn, there are three separate sets, one at each point. Hitting the horn too hard can damage the contacts so they are closed all the time thus the horn sounding nonstop. Dirt and dust can clog the contacts so that they won't close at all and thus no horn. Hope this helps.

Of course. Heck you could convert it to a diesel if you really wanted to.
I've got the same car, and my horn isn't working, it works sometimes but rarely\ If its has Airbags , you should check the Spiral Cable , you have to remove the steering wheel

That would be the OVERDRIVE selector switch.
How to open hood on Toyota echo
yes
There are two, one on the inside under the steering wheel area, near the driver's left knee (look for a removable panel, might be at the back of a storage compartment), the other is under the hood, near the battery.
If you are talking about the trip odometer push the button in and hold it for a couple seconds. It will reset. If you are talking about the constant odometer, there is no way to stop it, unless you disconnect it from the front left wheel well. By the way, that is illegal.
If you are asking if you can tow with a Toyota echo, the answer is yes. See related link for a video of a Toyota Echo towing a small trailer (and off roading).
1. Hold down the "AM" button until you hear a beep. 2. Use buttons "1" and "2" to set the clock. This works on a 2004 Toyota Echo with CD player "32809" (Australia)
