Very carefully! Even the dealership broke one in my 2002. Lift the hatch. There are two screws to remove and then you "wiggle" the assembly out to the side --- there is a grommet that a pin goes into. Pull it wrong, and you will crack the lens. Experience taught me that one --- not a cheap lesson!
