The water pump is run by the timing belt. You must go through the passenger side front wheel well. Remove all plastic shields and you will be able to get to the timing belt cover. Will need to remove the crankshaft pulley to replace the water pump also. Would recommend replacing the timing belt while you are there and the timing belt tensioner if it needs replaced. Will save you a lot of work in the future and possibly your engine since a broken timing belt can do internal damage to the engine.
