Clean out the throttle body, you can do it yourself in about 15 minutes. Take air cleaner off, spray throttle body cleaner in, whip out with clean cloth around the edges and your ready to go. I had to pay a dealer 150 bucks to do this and when I did it myself I was ashamed that I payed anyone to do it. Just bought another one, I have a 2005 and 2006.
If the idle is set too high, and you have an automatic transmission, this will happen. A sticking throttle cable or rod can also do this.
If it is a brand new clutch, it's not broken in yet, which is why it "sticks". Give it some time, though, and it will stop "sticking". It took a half mile of stop and go traffic for mine to stop doing that with my new performance clutch.
Mine is doing that. I have a '92. I have not looked into the matter yet but I believe it is a wheel cylinder that has a sticking piston.
The throttle is sticking, check on the throttle body for something holding it open, the reason it stops when you shut it off is because you stop the flow of fuel.
spray pam on them
Because when you need to stop quickly, It would be nice to have something bigger to step on then trying to step on an object smaller, When you need to stop quick you foot will catch the large pedal.
A car will move when the gas pedal is engaged. You can control the speed of the car by the pressure you put on the gas pedal. The brake pedal will either slow the car down or stop the car entirely.
To end (stop) a race car, press the brake pedal.

The brake pedal of coarse. It is usually the bigger and wider one of the pedals.
It is located at the very top end of the brake pedal. This is a common fault when the brake lights stop working, it is usually the microswitch sticking. If you run your hand from the footpad up the fronty of the brake pedal metal arm to the very top, up behind the lower dash area bit, you will find a small plastic box with a button protruding. The arm sticks against it and depresses it in rest mode leaving the lights off. As the pedal is depressed forward, the button springs out and the lights come on. It is very very hard to get it off and replace it due to access, but cheap if you can get at it. I just pushed the pedal in and then pushed and manipulated the button to free it in and out and stop it sticking and its been fine for ages now, the problem never came back, so try that first before trying to get a new one on.
