If you want your dog to learn to get your attention through barking ( which most people prefer the opposite of because it can get out of hand) then you should start by praising her every time she barks. eventually she will associate this with getting your attention for things. you can also try training her to "speak" on command, though I wouldn't know how to do this since I have had no luck with my dogs in that area. once you've got her knowing that she can get your attention through a bark and knows how to speak on command, whenever you take her outside, first ask her to speak, and whenever she comes back inside, ask her to speak first. if you are consistent in this it won't be long before she is barking to come in and out. If like me you have trouble with teaching your dog to bark on command, try lots of extra work with praising her and giving her your attention for barking. eventually she will probably associate this with any time she wants something, going in and out, getting fed, getting water, going for walks, being petted, being played with. be aware though that you might be about to create a very yippy dog.

Your dog may bark at animals on TV because he wants to play with them. He hears the dog through the speakers through your TV and wants to find the other dog. When he barks he may be telling the other dog to come out of the TV and play because they do not understand 2D pictures.
