But they should give money just enough for you to basically survive in college, like money for food, clothes, etc. Laptops, phones, etc. should already be provided. Sometimes though parents aren't perfect and not all parents help their children. It's wise though to find means to be able to support yourself in college if your parents don't help you out. It's also a great time to learn how to use and spend your money wisely more on needs vs wants.
