You don't, your period comes and ends when it decides to. There is no way to slow it down, speed it up, or anything. If this question was driven by stress because your period makes you feel miserable, you might consider PMS? PMS sucks.. I have it too. It helps to get alot of sleep, eat a lot of fruits and veggies, and make sure to wash your hands and take lots of showers.
For a Shorter period, My methods are:
- Lots of fluids to flush your body's toxins - water, water and cranberry juice (cranberry's are good for the kidneys - which clean your blood, and altogether are great to detoxify the body)
- Keeping away from alcohol as it thins your blood and thus usually increases your flow,
- Starting the next pack of my contraceptive pill (with Microgynon 30 you can do this) without a break, so it brings my hormone levels back up to pre/post period levels not allowing the drop in hormones which cause you to bleed.
- Keep away from aspirin or any other blood thinner will also help.
- Exercise like a maniac, there's lots of evidence that sustained exercise reduces period length.
- Use 'Instead Soft Cups' placed internally to stop any external flow, then you can still have sex on your period.
@"Dairy altogether is bad during your period. So is red meat."
When on your period you loose a large quantity of blood, and thus iron, from your body.
So in fact RED MEAT is good for you when you're menstruating, as a good source of Iron, as it will help keep your body's iron levels from depleting.
Once you have begun your periods, they should happen every month (although in the first 1-2 years they can be irregular). Once you have come on your period for that month, you cannot make it stop until the process (shedding of the contents of the womb) is complete. This usually takes between 3-5 days, but anything between 2-7 days is normal.
You can't get your period faster.
When you menstruate is determined by your menstrual cycle, a domino effect of hormonal changes that results in ovulation and in turn if you don't fall pregnant will result in menstruation. You cannot skip phases of your menstrual cycle or speed-up your menstrual cycle to make yourself menstruate earlier than you are due. Exercise, water, eating healthy will help regulate cycles but not speed-up your period.
Well you got to exersize, drink lots of water, and eat health.
The more you work out(running works the best) the shorter your periods will be.
Work out a lot
You don't. wait for it.

OMG, no. I'm not sure what you mean -- I'm assuming you mean drinking it, but no, it won't make your period go away faster.
No. It's not something that you can control.
I have found that once my period started my symptoms would go away and not return after my period is done. That has happened twice, so im not sure if that is just the case with me, or if it a natural "healer" .
no.
they make dents in your skin, that go away
remidies that will make your period go off
1) Yes, get pregnant, it will go away for about nine months. The side effects are not, however, always to be desired. 2) Go through menopause at around 40 to 50 years of age.
It takes a while but trust me it would go away soon because exercise is the good thing to do when you do not wanna have a bloody period.
