When Speeding Spike gets mad, he will "blow his top" and run toward you. You should be in the left half of the subway car, and jump over him. His momentum will carry him into the car to your left. IMMEDIATELY go to the front of THAT car so he won't return to the car father back. Repeat this process to get him to the front car, where he will slip on the puddle.
