There are four steps on how grease a brake caliper on a 1995 Corsica. Some of the step-by-step instructions are purchase a silicone-based lubricant, locate the pins and boots, and then take the pins out.
Should be 2 mounting bolts one on top one on bottom remove these and slide caliper off rotor
two bolts in the steering knuckle and the brake line are all that attach to the brake caliper
it's called a caliper bracket
A 1995 Beretta front brake caliper is not held on by a Torx bolt. Use a 3/8" Hex key.
Lift the car, remove the tire, remove the brake shoe/caliper and remove the old brake pad. Put in the new brake pad, replace the brake shoe/caliper, replace the tire, and lower the car.
Use a large C- clamp to depress the piston enough to remove the caliper.
Clockwise to retract piston into caliper body
33 Ft lbs.
Lift the vehicle with a car jack, remove the tire, remove the brake shoe/caliper and remove the old brake pad. Next, put in the new brake pad, replace the brake shoe/caliper, replace the car tire, and lower the car to the ground.
Put emergancy brake on, then jack up the front enfd remove tires, use a 3/8 Allen tool to remove the caliper mounting bolts. Then remove the brake caliper, and remove pads from caliper. Next push piston caliper into the caliper, reinstall the caliper. Re install the front wheels, lower the vehicle, pump the brakes until they are hard once again, and your ready to drive again.
Sounds like the anti-lock brake system. best to have a professional look at it.
there is 2 bolts on the back of the caliper that hold it in place Allen key bold my be full of dirt use a c-clamp to press the caliper over (pushing oil out and pads apart) slide the calipers too the side (warning take care not to damage the brake line or press the brake with the caliper off)
