I would like to know how to preserve sun flower seeds. I dont want to cook them, just preserve them straight from the flower.
You wait until the seeds are no longer green or feel damp to the touch, then you pry the seeds carefully out of the sunflower head.
Either by hand, or by machine depending on what crop, the area in need of harvesting, and the time period in question.
