How do you have a step step cousin?

Well I've heard that a 'step cousin' is a step parent's nephews and nieces. Meaning if your father and mother got a divorice, your mother remarried to a man who is now your 'step dad' then his brother or sister's children are your 'step cousins'.

Also, I believe to use it with my other 'cousin'. I believe step father or mother means a father or mother because of marriage, not a blood parent. So, I believe that when my aunt married my uncle, my uncle became my 'step uncle' or 'uncle by marriage' and his brother's or sister's children are now my 'step cousins' or 'cousins by marriage'.

This may be incorrect but that is how I choose to describe my aunt's husband's brother/sister's kids. I like to be able to call them my cousins because I am so close to them!

Just as an example, my Uncle married a woman with children from a first marriage. Her children are my step cousins. Cousins are people who have an ancestor in common who is not a parent. If an uncle marries a woman who has children form a previous marriage, those children are not related to the children of the uncle's siblings. If the uncle and his new wife have a child together, that child is as much a first cousin of those other nieces and nephews as the uncle's children from his first marriage. Of course, if the family relationships are good, the children of the second wife will be made to fell members of the family as much as possible and some may want to call them "step-cousins," but that term is a new invention of no value to genealogy.

• There may not "officially" be any such thing as a step step cousin, but probably if your stepparents sibling had stepkids they could be called your step step cousin (since your parents siblings child is your cousin, and then you add a step because its your stepparent and add a step because its the siblings stepkid)
• Previous answer: A 'step step cousin' would be your second cousin. This means one of your aunts or uncles had a son or daughter that had children making those children your second cousins. If the aunt or uncle's son or daughter had a biological daughter or son divorced and remarried then the children of their second husband or wife would make them your second cousins, but not by blood in your own family (step step cousins.) - this answer makes no sense, as the grandchild of your aunt/uncle would be a first cousin once removed, not a second cousin. The hypothetical children of the second husband or wife would thus be step-cousins twice removed. A second cousin is a second cousin, not a step step cousin
