Drink a little shot of Apple Cider Vinegar. It will neutralize the stomach acid in your throat.
[correction]: Actually, Apple Cider Vinegar is an acidic compound... that would make it worse. First and foremost, drink some water to wash away the acid. You could eat something cold (popsicles are great, ice cream would make a next best option for the cold) to numb the pain, but drinking something soothing like Aloe Vera could help... just swallow slowly so it has the most impact on the throat. I have heard of people sucking on a Menthol cough drop to help soothe, but I haven't tried it.
[improvement] Happened to me. It hurts bad. Wait for it to go away it will in about 10 minutes, and if not go to the corner store and buy some real licorice (is that how you spell it?) the herb is better. Also drink some dairy product the thickness stays in your throat a tiny bit after swallowing which soothes it but eating ice cream of something cold numbs it.
Drink Coconut water, or just water with a little honey in it. Toast or anything that can absorb stomach acid should feel good. If you can't eat or drink anything, heat up hot water with herbs in it such as lavender, eucalyptus, chamomile etc. Once the water is boiling with all of the herbs in it, put the pot on a cutting board on the floor, and put your face over the pot and inhale the steam. I always get underneath a towel with the pot underneath me so the steam goes directly into my throat... Be careful though, don't burn your face hehe.
You can also put some herbs in warm bath and inhale the steamy air. :)
Do gargling with plane water. You can take antacids also.
vomiting bile
bile
If a person is vomiting bile, they will not be feeling at all well. The reason for vomiting bile could be because of a recent meal, that was not fully digested before vomiting. The person might be allergic to the food and this caused the vomiting along with the digestive enzymes and juices called bile. If a person has had a recent gallbladder surgery, this too could cause bile vomiting. In either case the individual will not enjoy the sensation and may feel slightly light headed after completion.
Food can stop bile. If you find that you are struggling with vomiting bile, eat a piece of bread. If your bile ducts are clogged, gallstones can cause this.
A doctor may be able to tell if vomiting is the cause of a sore throat. If the vomiting occurs frequently, the throat can become quite sore from the acide in the vomit.
yes its a sign of congestion
Vomiting after consuming alcohol is a sign that you had too much. That in itself is dangerous. The bile is probably no big deal. At least you know your liver is still working. Although, vomiting reguarly damages teeth, can the throat lining. However, that would need to be over a period of time of reguarly vomiting
yes
Plug your throat
Migraine is a neurologic disease and it affects many parts of the body including the digestive system. Gastric stasis caused by this process can create nausea and vomiting. If you have bile in your stomach, that is what will come up when the vomiting occurs.
You need to see a doctor as soon as possible.
