This depends on how large the ham is. If the ham is already cooked, you are just looking to warm it up. Figure if the ham is around 10 pounds, it should take approximately an hour to warm up.
well, to cook a PREcooked ham you have to sit on the ham for atleast 3 days and 47 minutes although it may help if you fertilise the ham with your natural feaces, or juices (yes that includes sperm) every 15 minutes.
yes the foil keeps in heat and cooks it in the foil
Smoked ham is already fully cooked - so you just need to heat it - 5-10 mins/pound at 300-325 degrees.
Start by placing your ham in a crock pot. Add cold water and cover the pot. Turn the crock pot to high heat and bring to a boil.Turn down to medium heat and let the ham boil a few minutes, then drain water, and refill with water 2" above ham. Bring to a boil again over high heat. This method is used to make the ham less salty. Add peeled onions and cook ham for a half hour per pound. Add more water when it starts getting low. Peel and cut potatoes and carrots. Wash and core cabbage and cut into wedge like pieces. Add your vegetables at the last 40 minutes of cook time. They will boil in the pot with your ham. Serve together. Voila. Boiled dinner with your ham.
Since a Ham is already cooked, usually 15 minutes per pound at 300 degrees should be more than enough time to heat fully through the ham. Check with meat thermometer at 2 hours and adjust time/temp.
It is not necessary to cook a pre-cooked ham. A pre-cooked ham is good at room temperature, so you can leave it set out for an hour before serving. However, if you do decide to heat up your pre-cooked ham, just make sure you wrap it in tin foil, and watch it closely because you don't want your ham to dry out.
All you're really trying to do is to heat the ham through so time will depend alot on how much ham you want to heat up. For a small ham, figure 1 1/2 hrs @ 375 along with the potatoes. The larger the ham the longer the time but put the potatoes in 90 minutes before taking the ham out. Let the ham "rest" for 20 minutes after removing it from the oven. And keep it basted while cooking so it doesn't dry out the outer layer.
No one outside of the Portland area carries this brand anymore. I have looked everywhere.
1/2 ham boneless: flat side down on roasting pan covered with foil. 10-15min/lb.
If it were me, I'd probably heat the precooked ham at 350º for about an hour. That'd be my best guess if I didn't have the instructions from the wrapper.
Remove ham from oven 1/2 hour before end of cooking time. Empty contents of the Honey & Spice packet into small saucepan. Add 1 tablespoon of warm water. Heat glaze mixture on high, stirring constantly, until glaze begins to boil. Remove immediately from heat. Using a glazing brush, apply glaze immediately by brushing it evenly over the surface of the warm ham. (For a thicker coating, allow glaze to cool 4 to 5 minutes before applying to ham.) If ham was place in cooking bag, carefully cut bag open and pull away from ham, then apply glaze. Bake glazed ham uncovered at 250 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove glazed ham from oven and serve.
