Select the text you want to hide. Then you can hold the Ctrl key and the Shift key down and press the H key. You can also do it by going to the Format menu, pick Font and in the Effects section, tick the Hidden box. If you turn the special characters on, by clicking its icon on the toolbar, or pressing Ctrl and Shift and pressing the 8 key, you will see the text, showing a dotted line under it. That indicates that it is hidden text. Ypu can unhide it by using the same methods to hide it.
