How do you highlight text?

Or you could just open up Microsoft Word and if you are making a document in there, there is a highlighting tool in home under the font section that looks like a marker with ab above it.

If you are reading an eBook, such as PDF or CHM, you can highlight a text easily.

For PDF files, there are many available tools, such as Adobe Acrobat or default MacOS PDF reader.

For CHM files, Beyond CHM can help you to highlight text what you want. Beyond CHM is a good choice for CHM reading and editing.

There are a few ways. First, you can click and drag across the text. If you go to the left of a paragraph until the see the arrow pointing up to the right, doing a single click will select a line, a double click will select the paragraph and a treble click will select the whole paragraph. With nothing selected, holding Ctrl and clicking anywhere will select a sentence. Double clicking in a word will select that word.

You click on the right hand button on the mouse and drag over your selected text.
