Use a line out converter spliced into the rear speaker wires to connect RCAs to a sub amp.

No, you can't. It does not have such cable at all.
it is...but they wont perform properly nor sound right.
I have a 10" sub and an amp in my 2004 Chevy silverado. My dad got it for me but he also had to by a different stereo. I don't know if just the chevy stereo wouldn't work with it or if it's all stock stereos.
I have no answer for you but mine does the same thing.
on factory wire harnes, there are 5 speaker wires. 4 are (+). on speakers, but only one (-). when i hook up aftermarket head unit do i hook up all negative speaker wires together
To hook up stereo speakers in a truck, attach the stereo wiring to the stereo and run it to the speakers. Clip the stereo speakers into the wires and place them in the panel spaces in the truck.
The easiest way is a Line Out Converter. you either splice off the rear speakers or if it was equipped with subwoofer then you can splice into that line. The Line Out Converter just gives you a set of RCAs and then you just hook it all up like normal.
You first take the amp Then you take the subs. Then. Voila.
well you hook it up
