First you have to take the cluster gauge dash cover off and the center dash piece off. 8 screws total 6 in the gauge cluster dash piece then 2 in the center piece. Once those are off you'll see the spot where you'll install the radio (old on if it's still in) remove it (if in) If your not hard wiring the system into your car I recommend you go to your local auto part start and buy yourself a wiring harness and you'll have a very easy plug and play set up. just match the colours if you do that.
If you have to hard wire the radio in then you'll do this
green/white = illumination don't need
black/yellow = dimmer don't need
yellow/red = pass rear speaker (+)
white/red pass front speaker (+)
Blue = 12V acc - Red wire on your radio
red/black = 12v constent - yellow on your radio
yellow/blue = driver rear speaker (+)
white/blue = driver front speaker (+)
black/blue = driver front speaker (-)
gray/blue = driver rear speaker (-)
black/red = pass front speaker (-)
gray/red = pass rear speaker (-)
You'll have to make your own ground this way just screw the black wire into the metal under there.
For the wires for the speakers the stereo should have a diagram on the bottom to tell you which wire color goes to which stock wire
no
look on the wiring diagram on the old casette/radio that was in the truck before, take the plastic pieces that u hooked the old casette/radio up before off, and read the wiring diagram of the CD player, the trucks wiring will be positives so hook up the negatives of the CD player.
Follow the instructions in the manual that came with the CD player. If you have no manual then you will need to find the instructions for the particular model you have.
Go to install doctor.com they will have it
in a Haynes or Chilton manual you can get at a auto parts store or online
You can only hook it up to that type of player if they have a USB output on them
by a CD player at walmart and correct dash kits and hookups for easy hook up .... done ..... i did it the celeb lives on !!
adjustments and audio settings
Buy a new radio and install it
where your tape player is in the middler of your dash replace that with your CD player and un hook the wires from your stock radio. I did the same think in my truck and it works fine.
You need to get the unlock CD that came with the deck. I have this same problem as the Jazz CD that came with mine was stolen in a CD case with my other stuff. If you can prove you bought the deck or it's registered to you, Eclipse will send you a replacement disc to unlock it. Good luck
you can get you an rca jack and run it i doubt that cd player has rca inputs besides that it should be a breeze
