Disconnect the solenoid wire, turn the bowl counter clockwise. No tools are needed.
how to replace plug wire on a toro mower
i need to see belt digram for a 4518 honda riding mower
You can, yes, but it's not advisable. The manufacturers of ride-on lawn mowers incorporate safety devices into the starter circuit to minimise the risk of injury in the use of the equipment.
The kill switch wire is broken or has come loose. If it is a push mower, look at the end of the throttle cable where it touches ground when the lever is in the OFF position. If it is a riding lawn mower, follow the wires from the ignition switch, you will find a disconnection someplace near ground (by the throttle cable bracket on my rider).
Does all depend on what brand engine....
need a color wire schematic for main wire harness
Possibilities: 1) You have a bad battery. 2) You have a bad ignition switch. 3) You have a broken or unplugged wire to the charging system. 4) You have a bad charging stator.
The answer will depend on what engine is in the mower. If it is a single cylinder more than likely it will be in the front of the engine. If it is a twin cylinder the plugs wille on the sides of the engine. Either way look for a thick black wire going to it about the thickness of a pencil. It will be what that wire goes to on the lower end of the wire.
just follow the spark pulg wire you cant miss it.
