1834 is probably some sort of arsenal marking, while 1940, which is probably on the top of the receiver, is the year it was manufactured. 1834 wouldn't be the year of manufacture - the 7.62x54R cartridge did not enter service until 1891, and black powder rifles (which used projectiles significantly larger than 7.62) were the order of the day in the 1830.
I'd venture to say you probably have a bolt action Mosin-Nagant M91/30. The "moon with letter" marks is a bit odd... at first indication, it would seem to be a mark found on rifles manufactured by New England Westinghouse, but it wouldn't be found on a rifle made in 1940 - that contract ended in 1918. Is there any chance you could send me a photo of this rifle and of those markings? Just send an email to (my username) at wikianswer.com and I'd be more than happy give you more specifics about your rifle.
Impossible to answer without a detailed description of all markings.
Винтовка is rifle in Russian.
First, you'd need to know what type of rifle it is. There's plenty of resources available online which can identify markings and such, but they tend to be oriented towards one particular type of rifle.
Depends on WHICH rifle, unique markings, arsenal it was manufactured at, and overall condition.
