Bottom left side on the back end of the block. The first letter is the decade code then the next digit is the year number. C = 1960's , D= '70's , E= 80's, F= 90's. If it starts with an E5blah,blah,blah it's a 1985 block. F2 is a 1992. C9 would be a 1969.
