Final Cut Express just supports such popular video formats as DV, HDV, MPEG-4, MPEG-2, MOV, and AVCHD.1. So , you can't import Youtube videos to Final Cut Express. You need use Video Converter for Mac to convert your youtube videos to .mp4 format that Final Cut Express supports. Then import it to Final Cut Express for edit.
== == The projects, assets and Final Cut XML data you've saved should be on the scratch disk you allocated when setting up Final Cut. These components make up the videos you've edited and as long as they aren't deleted, neither will your videos.
It's all about lighting, setting, and frame rates man. Also the way they import and export. You have to think given the money they have, they use the best of the best. I personally use an HD Sd card & set my gopro2 cam to 720p 60fps & edit with final cut pro or iMovie, and I can't get my videos to look half as good as they do. They're sick. I've been investigating how they go about their videos for weeks now. I'll report back when I find their secret!
It can go with Final Cut Pro, Imovie, Windows Live Movie Maker, if you have the HD version, any HD editor.
No. But you may be able to using third-party applications.
There is a site called, lynda.com that has tutorials and instructional videos on Final Cut Pro. I'd suggest visiting the site for the information you are seeking:
Yes. Go to file>Import>Files, or press command I. Then wherever the file is you can import it and it will appear in you browser section of the screen (where all the files are).
Hi Caryl, I am happy to assist you today. As you're aware, Final Cut is rather limited on the file formats it can use. Fortunately, there is a free piece of software that can convert your videos to a format Final Cut can use. The software can be located here: http://www.squared5.com/ . Once you've installed the software, import your MPEG-2 video, and chose "Quicktime" as the export type. Let me know if this software helps you use your video in Final Cut!
Well you can find this on the internet. Final Cut Express is a video editing tool. Are you trying to find a program to edit videos during this trip? If so, then you can find Final Cut Express on the internet.
You can go to onetoone.com and watch videos on Final Cut or sign up for sessions to learn about the software. You can also learn at camps and things like that.
MP4 is a final delivery lousy video format which is not suitable for editing in non-destructive video editing software like Final Cut Pro. Though Final Cut Pro 7 and Final Cut Pro X update to import MP4 video, it only support MP4 encoded with H.264. If the MP4 is encoded with other video codec, Final Cut Pro X/7 will still fail to import MP4. See link below:
