i heard to take the little hose off that goes to the y pipe and plug the y pipe where you took the hose from, i tried it on mine and its a crap load of boost but mine sputters i thing i have a leak which i tought jb weld fixed it but i guess not, e mail me and let me know what happens lcarlosm@aol.com
*** EDIT ***
OMFG, are you trying to blow your engine?? It's sputtering because you are running super lean above 14.5 psi, and you are destroying bearings/pistons. Trust me, it only takes a few minutes of that abuse. May not find out for another year, but it will happen. I've ran lean a few times down the track, and it was enough to spin a bearing a year later.
Go to www.3si.org/forum and search "free boost mod" , you mod. the boost solenoid on the 1st gens to go from 9psi to 12 psi. If you want more, you will need an aftermarket boost gauge, a boost controller, and would be a good idea to get a datalogger to watch knock. 14psi is usually considered safe, anything above that and your stock injectors cannot supply enough fuel & you start going lean.
