The fundamental concept of the CJ windshield frame design is the same as the YJ's so this should help you at least figure out what would be a good approach to doing your YJ's windshield. I would also suggest picking up a glass suction cup, the kind you see professional windshield replacement places using to help hold on to the glass. I found mine for $4 at a NAPA auto parts bargain bin, and after some testing beforehand deemed it reliable enough to use so I don't drop and break my windshield. Hope this helps and good luck!

If you are working with a YJ, you will also have to remove all the belt rails. On both sides of the Jeep, measure from the outer edge of the body to the top lip of the windshield. It should be 75 1/8 inches on both sides of the Jeep.
