Go to his page on the minecraft forums, (it's easier to just Google Zombe and it will take you right to it.) and read the instructions.
Install MCPatcher first then any others, then Zombe's last. I had to install Zombe's manually to get it to work with my other mod. If you get a warning when you log in to a game saying "you haven't enabled the mods" then it installed right. Just quit the game, go to the config file and on the mod you want to use just delete the # sign, (just delete it, don't add or subtract anything more), and then remap the keys to the ones you want, and save. Read his FAQ for the exact instructions.
A mod that lets you fly, look through walls and highlights ores is Zombes ModPack which is very useful to me.

You need to make sure you delete the Meta-Inf folder. Some mods are not compatible with other mods. This happens when both mods have modifications to the same .class file. There should usually be a list of incompatible mods in the official forum post. If not, disable your mods one by one to determine which ones are not compatible, then report the issue to the developer of those incompatible mods. Another reason is because some mods must be installed in a specific order. For example, if you want to use "Too Many Items", "Single Player Commands" and "Zombes Modpack", the three most popular mods, they have to be installed in this order: - Zombes Modpack - Too Many Items - Single Player Commands Usually the developers will let you know if mods must be installed in a specific order to not crash.
You go to their website (google it) and download the Technic Launcher (try using the .jar, the .exe didn't work for me). Once you open the launcher, choose your modpack, in this case Tekkit, put in your Minecraft or Mojang account information, and hit login. This creates a brand new directory that won't mess with the minecraft.jar that is launched from the vanilla launcher:
