make sure to lean the bike on the opposite side of the kickstand,as the derby cover is also the plate you remove to check the primary chaincase oil-or trans oil. you'll need an Allen key. if u need more directions, sell ur bike.

It's the larger cover with (usually) 4-6 screws holding it in place. However my '85 Sportster has no screws in the "Derby Cover".
