The front spline portion of a drive shaft out of a 400 trans is what you need. It can be installed on any drive shaft you have of proper length. U-joints come in many sizes and styles and are very common. 400 transmissions are getting old I would start looking in older out of the way salvage yards for a front spline yoke out of a 400

where is the stater located on a 92 sc 400 lexus v8
The 1996 Lexus LS 400 has a curb weight of 3,650 lbs.
If it is a manual trasmsiion, then yes. If it is an automatic transmission, then the answer is positively NO! Towing with the rear wheels down will damage the transmission. Remove the drive shaft.
Yes but do to the 400 Turbo Trans being much longer you will need a shorter drive shaft
The splines on the transmissions were the driveshaft slides into are different on the 350 and 400 turbo's So that means you will have to change the yoke on the end of the driveshaft.
Yes the CASES are the same. The center shaft that's in the 4x4 transmissions are longer then the 2-wheel drive trannys. That is for the transfur case will slide onto the center shaft and work. But the cases are the same.
