disconnect the filler neck hoses (2), unplug the connector and unbolt the ground (you may need to lower the tank a little) with a good jack under the tank loosen the tank bolts and swing the straps out of the way. lower the tank down slowly keeping an eye on all the gas lines when you can disconnect the lines do so. finish lowering the tank and remove it, remove the metal ring from the tank with a screwdriver and hammer. remove the sending unit, the pump will come off when the coupler is slid down. enjoy the rust! install in reverse
