I couldn't find any internet info so i decided to tackle it myself. to remove the old grill, kneel in front of the car and look at the bottom of the grill. behind the grill you will see 4 one inch high plastic bumps. three of those contain a metal tension clip. take a small screwdriver and push down on the little metal tab. these can be seen from the front of the grill. as you push down on the clip gently pull that part of the grill towards you. it will unclip. do that to all three. now stand up and look down at the very front of the engine compartment. you will see a large plastic cover going from right to left. it has three plastic screws that have to be removed. now lift the cover off. look down inside behind the grill and you will see six 7/16 nuts. remove them and the grill will pop out. good luck!
Very front of the vehicle right behind the grill.
NO a grill from a 87 will not fit a 91. Only a grill from 88 , 89 or a 90 will fit. They don't even look the same.
