How do you install a headlight switch in a 1991 Lincoln Town Car?

The dash trim surrounding the steering wheel, climate controls, and air bag panel is held in by Allen head screws....remove these. After you do this, you will see that the switch itself is held in by three (3) Philips head screws....remove these. The head light switch assembly will be held inside a frame by a nut over a bolt connected to it. Before you remove this nut, look for a small button....this will release the rod that connects to the knob that operates the switch (you should have already unscrewed this at the beginning of this repair). After pulling out the rod, disconnect all power wires and plugs, and reassemble using the same steps, only in reverse.
