I've been wrangling with this myself. There seems to be three components...
The disarm switch that any Jeep key will turn. This mounts either to a space on the dashboard near the gear shift OR in the floor console where the change holder sits. These are found on eBay and an outfit called Jeepsareus.com.
The second piece is a wiring harness (which I cannot find), also where the wiring plugs into to disable the system, I assume it's the airbag control unit.
IF you pull either AIRBAG fuse it will disable the entire system, so that's not a good option.
The third is either a bezel that covers the switch for aesthetics, or instructions on how to install. Most dealers don't know how to deal with this and say it can't be done... except MOPAR manufacturers the parts and the manual discusses it. Which leads me to beloieve, they're either clueless or lazy or both.
I Do not have jeep or one does not have an airbag
According to the site below, most vehicles have an airbag on/off switch. Please see the link below for more information.

The switch should be the same as your headlight switch. If not then you will either need to install your own switch for the running lights or buy a new OEM switch module.
take your key and unlock the drivers side door should disarm it
Remove the wiring harness from the 2003 Jeep Liberty pressure switch. Remove the power steering pressure switch retaining screws. Reverse the process to install the new power steering pressure switch.
All 1998 Jeep vehicles have an airbag.
I am pretty sure you have the toggle style switch, remove the lower dash bezel, and the switch is connected to the metal frame with 2 screws.
The only way i found to disarm the alarm was to use the back hatch lock. lock it and unlock it a few times with the key. if this doesnt work try the door locks
A 1993 Jeep does not have a reset switch.
in a 2004 rubicon behind the glove box on the fuse panel are 2 fuses outlined in black that say airbag i can only guess to pull the fuse My 2000 has a switch in front of the shifter for turning off the passenger airbag.
