The starter is located towards the bottom of the engine towards the front of the vehicle. First remove the cable from the B+ terminal and unpulg the wire for the solenoid. Remove the starter by loosening the two 5mm bolts that thread into the starter. They are a little hard to get at but with a little patience you can get a wrench on them and get them off. Then just pull out the starter and install the new one. However, before you change the starter, make sure it really is a defective starter and not a bad cable or ground. I just went through this exercise only to find out that the problem was really a bad ground in the power distribution center on the left fender.
