1999 subaru legacy wagon mph gauge works when it wants to what makes the gauge work? Is it a censor, fuse, wire please help
Remove the instrument panel cover from your 2002 Subaru. Remove the fuel gauge retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the fuel gauge. Reverse the process to install your new fuel gauge.
it Goes from the Gauge Cluster. throught the firewall and connects down in the top passanger side of the tranny
A boost gauge in an internal combustion engine has the role of a pressure gauge. The gauge indicates the manifold's air pressure or a turbocharger or supercharger's boost pressure.
Yes it will, up to 500kg. Keep an eye on the temp gauge as it could cause overheating on long uphills or under heavier loads.
if it is a manual gauge it is as easy as following the directions. hook up a wire for the light, a ground and the vacuum hose spliced somewhere into a current vacuum line with the T that is most likely provided.
It sounds like your temperature sender (on top of the engine) is faulty allowing it to earth out, or the wire going to the sender may be touching a earth.
you have to tap into your intake manifold and install the pressure line there. you can only put it on the intake manifold. then run your line through the firewall. make sure there is no way that it can become cut or kinked. then mount your gauge and hook up the line and the power can come from any 12 volt source.
Inside the fuel tank.....
One can purchase a boost meter or gauge from Jegs and Glow Shift Direct. These meters can also be bought at Treadstone Performance, Egauges and Sunmit Racing.
