Unplug the tailight socket from its connection. Then, with an 8mm or 5/16 wrench, loosen the four bolts holding the taillight to the chassis. After removing the bolts, give a small pull and it should slide right out. Reverse the steps and, voila, you just replaced your taillight. Now go do the other side!

How do you replace starter in 1997 BMW 740il??
You can refer to a 1997 BMW 740iL repair manual available on 1000repairmanuals.com/blog/bmw-e38-740i-740il-repair-manual-1996-1997-1998-1999-2000-2001/
they do not come with one stock, you would have to install an aftermarket one- Nick
That's a tough one. The 528i weighs less, but has an engine with less torque and horsepower. Honestly none of those cars are exactly "fast." How about this, a 1997 540i has the same engine as a 1997 740iL and weighs less.
Same as most cars. You need a dash kit to adapt the DIN size aftermarket radio to the GM DIN and a half opening, then you need the appropriate wiring adapter so the plug from the aftermarket unit can plug into the Lumina's plug.
I assume by keyless you are talking about keyless entry, if so, you will not lose it if you install aftermarket CD players.

If the face plate of the original factory radio is Oval, like the 1997 escort, you can get a new radio faceplate that will accept a standard aftermarket radio from crutchfield. Mine cost $49 back in 1997. It even takes the original A/C and rear defroster controls.
I know of no aftermarket kit. Unless it comes from the factory it would be hard to install a factory unit.
You need to go to a sound shop and buy an adapter that will allow your radio to be plugged into the car's wiring harness. You will also need to ask them which ground wire to cut, so you don't blow out the dimmer switch for your dash lights.
