Software designed in the C Programming language is installed pretty much in the same way as software written in any other language.
Installation typically includes the execution of an installer, a specialized application created with an installation tool. The installer affirms prerequisites, initializes the environment and places executables and data into appropriate locations on the target system. This includes executables and support data specific to the application being installed and supporting components, such as the language runtime libraries.
The exact details vary with the application, the development tool, and the target platform and operating system. The choice of programming language itself (e.g. "C") does not generally affect the installation method.
You do not install the language, the language is a specification. You install a compiler.
(see gcc)
Popular IDEs include:
Most of these include compilers, which are needed to turn your source code into binaries.
how to install TURBOC
You can't run MS-DOS, windows is different operating system. You can type cmd to invoke command prompt. Also, you could install DOSBox to run DOS programs, OR install VirtualBox and install DOS inside it.
Just execute the name of the setup file.. You also have to give the full path.. say C:\> oracle
Dos C - 2009 was released on: USA: May 2009
Access the hardware directly: possible in DOS, not possible in Windows.
The disks to install MS-DOS only came on floppy disk, not CD. It is theoretically possible to make an installer to install it from a CD drive, but I doubt anyone has ever tried. FreeDOS, an MS-DOS compatible clone, is capable of being installed from a CD.
Alright, this is what you do. Did you extract the folders to C:/WOLF ? If you didn't go for it. Then Download DOSBOX, open up DOSBOX and type in these commands. mount c C:/WOLF (press enter) C: (Press Enter) WOLF (press enter then it should start)
I actually use Borland C++ 3.1 for MS-DOS.
You can write, compile and execute C-programs in both DOS and Unix, if that's what you meant.
type at DOS prompt CD c:\
You add your mom!!!
Try INSTALL.EXE, but it is possible that it doesn't support MS-DOS applications any more. In that case DOSBOX might be a solution.
DOS only supports the generic based printers.. You need not to install any printer in it as it always use Generic Text printer driver.. You can only use Dot Matrix Printer (DMP) in DOS without any driver..
