how to replace a blend door actuator on a 1999 ford ranger
replace temperature door actuator.
Remove the inside door panel. Remove the linkage from the actuator. Remove the retaining nut from the actuator. Reverse the process to install the new actuator.
Failing power door lock actuator. The actuator has a switch as part of the assembly. Honda uses the switch in that actuator to trigger all the doors, just like when you operate the lock manually. When the actuator driver door actuator goes, the whole system acts strange. Part typically costs about $25USD, but requires a bit of labor to install.
I believe you are looking for blend door actuator???
I have a 2004 Acura TSX - I was having this same problem - it fixed itself and apparently the "fix" in my situation was to have a passenger lock and unlock the doors from the passenger side.
We have a 2002 Protege so I assume it is similar to yours. 1) Carefully remove the Door Panel 2) Unscrew and remove the Door Lock mechanism 3) Now simply separate the Door Lock Actuator from the Door Lock (The Door Lock Actuator is the part with the wires coming out of it.) Installation is the reverse. Have Fun!

It may seem impossible to get to the door speaker of your 1999 Acura TL. Just a few screws and clasps are all that are holding it in place, however. Be careful to replace all of them, and the door panel will fit back perfectly.
the actuator door is above the actuator motor which is above the floor vent ducts in the middle of the dashboard at the bottom easy fix on F- 150 on a Expedition you have to remove the middle console first to even get to that section of the dashboard.
Doesn't matter. The post coming out of the actuator is keyed to the door (post and hole "D" shaped). Hint: before installing actuator, hook it to electrical connection, turn key to on position, and move heat selector switch to about half way position. This will turn the post on the actuator, allowing you to install the actuator into the door and rotating the rest of the way by hand before bolting in final position.
