How do you install front brake pads for a 1992 Ford Festiva?
Once you take the caliper off , you will need a C-clamp to compress the piston back into the caliper .
Make sure you leave the old pad on top of the piston to help it go straight back into the housing , be careful and do not let the piston go in crooked , it will get stuck .
You may also need to get a small kit , that has the little springs that hold the retaining pins in , if you break one .

Is the braking system on a 1992 Grand Caravan 3.3L non ABS split front rear or diagonal mine seems to lock the right front and left rear?
It is split front and rear. You have two separate brake issues. I would pull all four wheels and take apart all four brakes inspecting along the way. The left front could have a frozen caliper piston, caliper slide pins or a damaged/blocked brake hose. The right rear wheel cylinder may be frozen or the brake is way out of adjustment.

The brake light is on 1992 oldmobile cutlass what does it mean cutlass and what you should do about it?
is it the abs or e brake light? More than likely it is an abs sensor. cost about 50 bucks to have replaced on my car hope this helps. If it is the red brake light, there is low fluid or the e-brake pedal is sagging. Check the reservior and top it. If it is the orange brake light, you'll need to have the ABS system tested to determine the cause. Or you could blindly…

I have a 1992 Fored Festiva. My fuse box is on the lower left-hand side of the plastice casing. It's left of the steering wheeel and is easily accessible. You should see many fuses and a brief description of each one. E.g - "Lamps" and the amps may be 15 or 20. The fuse box opens readily, no special tools needed.
