Hold your ADA handrail where you want it. Pencil mark your hole pattern. They make drill bits to drill tile. I find the massonary style bit to work best. Dip the bit in water every once in a while to keep it cool. Drill a 1/4 " hole at each mark, tap in a blue "moly" in your FOUR locations. (use the 4 hole pattern) and screw your rail to the wall. ADA height is 34" to the center of the pipe. GL

It is best to remove the vinyl tile. If it is not on cement and is on wood you can install cement backer board. Be sure to put thin set under the board. If you spend the money and time to install ceramic tile and the vinyl tile comes loose all that $ is down the drain What is the best tile cement to use and this cement tile can be installed on vinyl tile and install ceramic tile on it

I would not recommend it. It will not bond properly. You will have to install an appropriate sub-floor, then install the tile on that

You should NEVER install tile over laminate. Pull up the laminate (which is very easy) and install the appropriate subfloor, then install tile on that

How do you install carpet on a tiled floor?
Get a tile cutter and remove the tile. Strip all the tile off and make sure the underneath surface is clean. Then u install a protective foam pad layer and install the carpet above it.
